Matthieu Bocquet
Founding Partner
Matthieu is the founding partner of Lumine Private Advisor.
He graduated from the Solvay Business School in 2004, with a degree in Finance (magna cum laude) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA®

Matthieu co-founded Lumine Capital Advisor. He graduated from the Solvay Business School in 2004, with a degree in Finance (Magna cum Laude) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst, CFA®. After two years with PricewaterhouseCoopers Business Restructuring and Corporate Finance departments, Matthieu moved to Degroof Corporate Finance in 2006. As an investment banker, Matthieu has executed and lead multiple transactions in the following sectors: Automotive, Software, E-Retail, Chemicals, Media, Medtech, Aero & Defense, etc.
In 2012 Matthieu worked for Tegris, a transatlantic boutique M&A firm based in New-York. Prior to founding Lumine, Matthieu was CFO and head of Business Development for a Belgian Medtech company, leading sales team in Europe & Asia. Matthieu also acted as Head of Investment, responsible of the private equity diversification strategy of a large family holding with presence in Europe, UK and Africa. When he is not on a deal, Matthieu enjoys sailing with his family and playing field hockey on a regular basis.
David Leclercq
Investment Director
David is Investment Director for Lumine. Holder of a Master in Business Engineering from Université Catholique de Louvain (summa cum laude).
David Leclercq
David is Investment Manager for Lumine which he co-founded with Matthieu. Holder of a Master in Business Engineering from Université Catholique de Louvain (summa cum laude).
David started his professional career in the Treasury Consulting department of PwC in 2012. After 3 years, David joined PwC Corporate Finance practice where as a corporate finance advisors he was involved in the origination and execution of M&A transactions for large corporates, private equities as well as privately-owned companies across a wide range of industries.
David started working with Matthieu for a Belgian family office where they jointly developed a dedicated long-term private equity investment approach. Besides work, David plays soccer and tennis on a regular basis.
Charles Nolet
Investment Manager
Charles is Investment Manager for Lumine. Holder of a Master of Engineering from Université Catholique de Louvain (Magna cum laude), and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
Charles Nolet
Charles graduated from the Louvain School of Engineering in 2010, with a Master degree in civil engineering (Magna cum Laude), and from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2018 with a Master in Business Administration (MBA).
Charles started his career in 2010 by working six years as civil engineer both for non-profit and for-profit organizations, where he developed his analytical and leadership skills through working on large construction projects. In 2016, Charles started his MBA at MIT to further build his business acumen, specializing in MedTech, Private Equity, and Advanced analytics.
In 2018, Charles joined McKinsey & Company where he became Engagement Manager, helping clients from multiple industries (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Private Equity, public sector, automotive, and chemicals) make lasting improvements across broad range of topics (e.g., M&S, Strategy, Operations, and Org).
Driven by intellectual curiosity, and excited to bring his business and engineering experience to accompany families in their entrepreneurial journeys, Charles reinforced Lumine Capital’s team as Investment Manager in 2021.
In his spare time Charles enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hopefully in the nature while hiking, biking, backcountry skiing, kite surfing, or mountain climbing
Stéphanie Lardinoit
Legal Manager
Stéphanie is Legal Manager for Lumine. She completed her Law Degree (cum laude) at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and a Master in Environmental Law (cum laude) at the State University of Ghent (Belgium).

Stéphanie is Legal Manager for Lumine. She completed her Law Degree (cum laude) at the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium) and a Master in Environmental Law (cum laude) at the State University of Ghent (Belgium).
She has worked as an associate lawyer with Baker & McKenzie Brussels for more than 7 years in the Real Estate department. She had the opportunity to work on multidisciplinary aspects of high end transactions, for both local and international clients. After a 5-year break to take care of her children, she decided to join Lumine eager to contribute to the firm’s success.
